The Hedgesville High School Instrumental Music program consists of numerous ensembles including:

 Marching Band

 Concert Band

 Percussion Ensemble

 Pep Band 

 Jazz Band 

The program, under the direction of Corey Hamrick, has grown each year in size, experience, and accomplishments:

   Marching Band 

-performs at all football games, parades, and field show competitions.  They are members of the Tournament of Band and have participated in the Atlantic Coast Invitational Championships for the last four years.

 Concert Band

 -performs a holiday and spring concert each year and participates in the WVSSAC Spring Concert Festival where they received a superior rating in 2009.

Percussion Ensemble

 -performs at the school Spring Concert.

Pep Band

 -provides music at home basketball games throughout the season.

 Jazz Band

-performs annually at select Jazz Festivals in the region as well as plays host to an annual Hedgesville High School Jazz Festival.  The Jazz Band earned a superior rating at the 2009 Jazz Festival held at Shepherd University.
